Tips

The only way to lessen the negative impact on eyesight is to regularly follow the correct eye care advice, as digital media has evolved into a necessity.

Work on your vision :

Keep in mind the 20-20-20 rule. Take the twenty-second break every twenty minutes to scan the display from a distance of twenty feet. As a result, there will be less chance of myopia and hyper-myopia.

Frequently break your gaze :

Minimizing the amount of time spent on screens and taking breaks frequently can lessen eye strain and weariness. This will moisturise the eyes and prevent allergic symptoms.

Make sure you're seated properly :

For the health of your neck and shoulders, sit straight with your head in the proper alignment. This can occasionally exercise tense muscles and provide relief for them.

On-device brightness adjustment :

Adjusting the device's brightness setting is essential for controlling the rays that can harm the eyes. So, make the backdrop a lighter shade of the original or a cool grey.

Put on glasses if necessary :

If your vision is impaired, put on the appropriate glasses before looking at the screen. To preserve eye health, choose to have an eye exam once a year.

Healthy eating :

To improve eye health, make sure to eat a balanced diet rich in antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables. This may prevent eye-related issues like cataracts.
