Last couple of years have been an eventful academic year with actors Ritvik Dhanjani and RJ Pritam Singh visiting TIS (IGCSE & A Levels) campus to legendary mathematics educator Anand Kumar inaugurating our ‘one of a kind’ AR/VR theatre - the 1st in suburbs of Mumbai. There was no shortage of excitement this year so let’s get a bit nostalgic about the past, shall we?

Fun-filled trip to Joggers Park
Remember that time in December when we were all in a ‘christmassy’ mood? Being an IGCSE school in Mumbai we understand the importance of outdoor learning and uur 4th graders can all agree that this trip promoted creativity and imagination, taught responsibility, and reduced stress and fatigue. Through these kinds of activities at TIS (IGCSE & A Levels) we find the opportunity to rejuvenate our mind and roam freely.

International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day was a time to reflect on the achievements of women, celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who play extraordinary roles in their communities. We at TIS (IGCSE & A Levels) marked the day through a highly invigorating panel discussion on gender equality, economic empowerment, and work-life balance.

Pyjama Party
Remember our Pyjama Party kids? - With an assortment of colourful pyjamas and slip-ons, our kids arrived for an epic night of snacks, games and entertainment. We at TIS (IGCSE & A Levels) had the time of our lives and never felt so energetic and cheerful.

The Pedology Experience
Pedology is a scientific discipline concerned with all aspects of soils, including their physical and chemical properties, the role of organisms in soil production and in relation to soil character, the description and mapping of soil units, and the origin and formation of soils. Wasn’t it such a wonderful experience for us all?

Potenzia 2019
Amazing food, fun games and a whole lot of amusement! That’s what Potenzia was all about. Petenzia 2019 was a grand success and fun for both our learners and parents who were at TIS cambridge campus that day.

Spa Day
Nothing feels better than pampering ourselves, isn’t it kids? In order to inculcate personal hygiene and cleanliness, we at TIS (IGCSE & A Levels) engaged in a spa day session at school. The experience started immersing our hands and feet in warm water, followed by cleaning, wiping and massaging them. This was done to enhance our self-care skills which in turn kept us happy and relaxed.

Inauguration of ARVR with Anand Kumar
Along with Anand Kumar (founder of Super 30), we inaugurated the ‘state of the art’ Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR) experience. TIS (IGCSE & A Levels) is the 1st IGCSE School in Mumbai that has incorporated AV/VR in learning and education programs. This technology empowers us to explore and learn at our own pace, thus stimulating learning and comprehension and enhances critical retention. This was the event we were most excited about, weren’t we?

Inauguration of English Room
Our Director and Trustee, Mrs. Karishmma V Mangal, inaugurated our English Room along with our grade 10 student Riya Shah, who’s story is published in a book “Young Storytellers” by Crossword. Can’t feel how time passes by so quickly in this room, does it?

Investiture Ceremony 2019 Our investiture ceremony was a grand success with the felicitation of our student council body as well as our new editorial team, checkpoint toppers and IGCSE toppers. We were all so excited to be felicitated and earn the applause of our educationists. We also elected leaders for the academic year 2020-21 and looked forward to a fruitful year.
